Betting on a greener future: from digital innovation to real trees

For a long time, we knew the industry needed a digital solution—not just for efficiency, but for sustainability. The answer came in the form of our revolutionary tool, In-shop Mobile. It’s a retail e-wallet system that allows players to bet directly from their mobile devices inside a shop. It removes the need for printed betting slips, reduces investment in hardware and streamlines cashier management.

This success gave us a clear mandate: we had to go further. Saving trees is a start, but actively planting new ones is how we change the game.

Our commitment to a greener future led us to partner with Plántalo, an award-winning NGO dedicated to the crucial work of reforestation and environmental recovery. This collaboration turns every success of our digital product into a tangible ecological benefit, funding the planting of one tree per day.

Our work with Plántalo is focused on areas with an urgent need for reforestation, targeting regions where Softquo Holding has a key presence and a deep connection to the local environment.

• Reforesting Spain: With offices in Spain, we selected the village of Oliete (Teruel) for our first collective planting effort. This area is under threat from depopulation and soil degradation. We committed to planting 65 native trees, working with the local community to restore the landscape and support biodiversity in December 2024.
• Restoring the Colombian Amazon: Colombia is home to another one of our key offices, a nation whose Amazon region is permanently under siege from deforestation. In January 2025, we will plant 300 native species trees in the Mocoa (Putumayo) area. This effort not only aids in carbon sequestration but also supports the intricate ecosystem of one of the world's most vital rainforests.
